Remodeling in Boynton Beach
We remodel kitchens and bathrooms in Boynton Beach, and we take on full renovations, interior painting and wallpaper. The price comes after Christhian sees the space.
Mostly seventies and eighties
Nearly half of the roughly 40,700 housing units in Boynton Beach went up in the 1970s and 1980s.
That vintage has a look. Closed-off kitchens, tight bathrooms, textured ceilings and the original floor tile.
Most of what people ask us for here is a kitchen or a bathroom brought up to date. Tell us the year the house went up when you book.
Salt gets into everything
The oceanfront strip of Boynton Beach split off in 1931 and became Ocean Ridge in 1939, so the city's east edge is the Intracoastal.
Moisture and salt both feed corrosion. UF/IFAS Extension puts it plainly: in a humid climate, especially in coastal areas where moisture is saline or salty, corrosion can occur readily.
That matters for the metal in a bathroom. We go through finishes at the visit instead of guessing from a photo.
The city keeps its own register
Boynton Beach finished its Historic Site Survey in 1996 and adopted a formal preservation program in 2011. A Historic Resources Preservation Board oversees it, and the city keeps the Boynton Beach Register of Historic Places.
The 1913 Boynton School was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 7, 1994, and has housed a children's museum since 2001.
If your house sits on the local register, say so when you book.
Who handles permits
The City of Boynton Beach Building Department enforces the ordinances and laws that regulate construction. It issues permits, examines plans and runs inspections.
Outside city limits, Palm Beach County handles them. The county has 39 municipalities, and the rules are not the same in each one.
We go through what your job may need when we come out.
Do you hang wallpaper?
Yes. The business started as a wallpaper business and kept that trade. Walls and ceilings both. See interior painting and wallpaper.
Can tile and paint happen in the same job?
Yes. On a bathroom the two usually travel together, and we sequence them so the paint goes on last.
Does my HOA need to sign off?
Read your community's rules before anything is ordered. Bring them to the visit and we go through the job with them in hand. Most associations ask owners for a form with the scope of work and who is doing it.
How far south do you go?
All of South Florida. We are based in West Palm Beach and work down through Broward into Miami-Dade.
How do I get a number?
Christhian comes to the house and sees the rooms. The estimate follows. We speak English and Spanish.
