Home remodeling in Miami, FL

Remodeling in Miami

We remodel kitchens and bathrooms in Miami, and we take on full renovations and interior painting. Christhian looks at the space in person before you get a price.

The houses here

Old stock next to new

Miami's housing splits between two eras. About three in ten homes in the city went up before 1960, and more than a third have gone up since 2000.

A 1950s house and a 2015 build are not the same job. Plaster behaves one way and newer construction behaves another.

Tell us the year the place went up when you book. We plan around it.

Neighborhoods

Some blocks come with history

Coconut Grove was settled in 1825 and annexed into the City of Miami in 1925. It is the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood in the city.

Further north, the MiMo Biscayne Boulevard Historic District runs along Biscayne Boulevard from NE 50th Street to NE 77th Street. The city designated it on June 6, 2006, with a period of significance of 1923 to 1967.

Miami counts eight historic districts plus well over a hundred individually designated historic sites. If your address falls inside one, say so when you book.

City or county

Who reviews the work

Inside city limits, the City of Miami Building Department enforces the codes that govern how buildings get built and altered.

Miami-Dade County has 35 municipalities, and each one keeps its own building official over permits and inspections. The county handles buildings in unincorporated areas, where the folio number starts with 30.

The rules are not identical on both sides of that line. We go over what your job may need when we come out.

Two languages

The visit runs in either one

Close to seven in ten Miami residents aged five and over speak Spanish at home.

Christhian works in Spanish and in English. Nothing about your kitchen gets decided through a translator.

We already take jobs in Miami-Dade County. Some of the rooms on our projects page came out of work down here.

Miami questions

More questions

Do you work outside Miami city limits?

Yes. We work through Miami-Dade and up the coast into Broward and Palm Beach County. Send your address and we'll say whether we can get there.

Can we do all of this in Spanish?

Sí. Christhian speaks Spanish and English, on the phone and at the visit.

How do I get a price?

Christhian comes to the house first and looks at the rooms. Your estimate comes after that. We don't price a kitchen over the phone.

Does my building or my association need to sign off?

Read your own documents before anything is ordered. Most associations ask owners for a form with the scope of work and who is doing it.

What do you not take on?

Small repair calls. Our work is kitchens, bathrooms, full renovations, interior painting, tile and wallpaper.

How it starts

The owner comes to you

Christhian, the owner, visits your home, walks the rooms with you and hears what you want done. The estimate comes after that visit.
