The scope

What we paint

A painting job with us can include:

  • Prep

Filling nail holes and small dents, sanding, caulking trim.

  • Primer

    Where the surface needs it.

  • Walls and ceilings

    Room by room.

  • Doors and trim

    Doors, door frames and trim.

  • Baseboards

    Painted with the trim.

  • Wallpaper

Hung by The Wall Pross, our wallpaper service.

We do not take handyman calls or small repair jobs. We do not do roofing.

The details

Trim gets its own coat

Trim, doors and baseboards take a different finish from the walls, and they are where a sloppy line shows first.

Wall finishes

Textured walls

We also do textured wall finishes, like the grey plaster-look walls in the stair hall and the living room on our projects page.

Wallpaper

The Wall Pross

Wallpaper has its own service now. The Wall Pross hangs it, takes old paper down and preps the walls, from one wall behind a bed to a whole room.

Humidity slows paint

Paint makers' data sheets say high humidity stretches drying and curing times, and they recommend a fan or the A/C to bring the humidity down.

If you can, keep the A/C running while we paint. The EPA's advice for any home is to keep indoor humidity below 60 percent.

How it starts

We see the rooms first

We don't price painting by the square foot over the phone. Christhian, the owner, comes to your home and walks the rooms with you. We look at the walls, ceilings and trim and ask about colors and finishes.

Then we put together your estimate.

Have these ready

  • The rooms you want painted
  • Colors you picked, with the brand and color name, if you have them
  • Your condo or HOA rules about work hours, if any
Part of a bigger job

Paint comes last

On a remodel, paint is one of the last steps, after the tile work. If you are planning a kitchen remodel or a full home renovation, the painting can be part of the same job.

We are based in West Palm Beach and paint homes across South Florida, including interior painting in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach. We also paint in Weston and Coral Gables. See our projects.

More questions

Do I need to pick colors before the visit?

No. It helps to have a few in mind, and we can talk about them at the visit.

Do you hang wallpaper?

Yes. Wallpaper has its own service now, The Wall Pross.

How long does it take to paint the inside of a house?

It depends on the number of rooms and how much prep they need. Humid days slow drying too. We talk timing through at the visit.

Can you price painting by the square foot?

No. We price after we see the rooms.
