Home remodeling in Royal Palm Beach, FL
Remodeling in Royal Palm Beach
We take on kitchen and bathroom remodels in Royal Palm Beach, along with full renovations and interior painting. We visit your home first. The price comes after.
A village since 1959
Royal Palm Beach was incorporated in 1959. The village serves about 40,000 residents and sits about 10 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean.
It has been a Tree City USA since 1990, and the whole village is a bird sanctuary.
Moisture still counts
Ten miles from the beach, a Florida house still has to handle humidity. UF/IFAS Extension notes that in a closed-up Florida home above 85 degrees, indoor humidity climbs past 55 to 60 percent, which can lead to mold.
In a remodel, that means planning for air to move out of the bathroom and giving paint time to dry. The EPA says to run the bathroom fan or open a window when you shower.
Check the rules
If your street has an HOA or your building has a condo association, read their rules before work starts. In a condo, most associations ask owners for a form with the scope of work and who is doing it.
Bring those rules to the visit.
Village permits
The Village of Royal Palm Beach has its own permit application forms. Outside village limits, Palm Beach County handles permits.
We talk through what your job may need at the visit.
